Mark your calendars for the 12th Annual “Celebration of Hope Gala” benefiting the Huntington’s Disease Society of America, to be held November 16, 2012 at Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego.
Huntington’s disease is a fatal genetic brain disorder that results in the loss of all mental and physical capabilities. Presently, there is no effective treatment or cure; however research has produced new-found hope for the future.
The HDSA’s annual Celebration of Hope Gala has been recognized as one San Diego’s most entertaining winter events and was recently presented with the “Outstanding Fundraising Event Award” at HDSA’s 2012 National Convention.
Hosted by Chris Harrison of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, more than 500 influential and caring San Diegans are expected to attend this year’s event, which features live and silent auction opportunities, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, a live musical performance, and more.
