Hi! For those of you that don’t know me, I’m Paul June, aka King Monkey. In 2009, I determined there was a smarter way to go about the marketing and development business.  To bring together incredible freelance talent under one umbrella to benefit businesses of all needs and sizes.

Last year, I looked around and saw that some of the best people that I had worked with over the years were out of work because of the bad economy.  So, I decided to take advantage of the opportunity to create a company utilizing this incredible talent that could benefit companies of all needs and sizes.  Most of all, I wanted to create an atmosphere where we could do great work and have fun doing it!

With a “no borders” approach, Barrel O’Monkeyz is not limited by the traditional office structure, the 9-5 timeframe, or the costs of overhead.  Team members are located around the world, in different time zones for work around the clock – all while maintaining a low cost structure.

Here exists my challenge:  How do I empower my “Borderless” team to connect to one another and to spread the word of Barrel O’Monkeyz? How do I empower and incite my team to be active participants in Barrel O’Monkeyz and not just wait to hear the phone ring?

I would love to hear some of your jungle rants, but in the meantime, I would like to thank the likes of Bill Ennis, Bob Ennis, Lisa McKendall, Dave Ferrell and Pam Barthold who have walked the walk and talked the talk of the monkeyz nation. And special thanks to Seth Godin for writing an inspired book, “Tribes” which I continue to recommend on a daily basis.
